1. Membership Enrolment
Enrolling in Madera Rewards signifies your acceptance to the full program terms and conditions. Madera Hotel Management Limited reserves the sole and final decision on the interpretation of these terms and conditions.
- Guests are eligible to enroll in the Madera Rewards free of charge.
- Membership is open to all guests aged 18 or above.
- Membership is valid for the lifetime of the member, subject to these terms & conditions, unless terminated in accordance with them.
- Each guest may hold only one membership account. The guest must provide all mandatory information to complete membership enrolment.
- By enrolling in the Madera Rewards, members are deemed to have read and accepted and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and consent to the collection of member’s personal data by Madera Hotel Management Limited to the extent necessary for the purpose of Madera Rewards in accordance with its privacy policy.
- Points are valid for a period of up to two calendar years (from 1 January of the year after they are earned until 31 December of the following year). For example, points earned in 2026 are valid until 31 December 2027.
- Expired points will not be reinstated. Unused points will expire after the validity period.
- Madera Hotel Management Limited reserves the right to grant, refuse or terminate Madera Rewards membership at its sole discretion. Its right to terminate membership is governed by Clause 3 below.

2. Membership Privileges
- Members can enjoy the membership privileges during their next stay after successful enrolment. If the members submitted the membership enrolment with complete information before check-out, points will be granted for the qualifying spending of room master bill in that visit.
- All membership privileges including discounts, promotional offers and vouchers usage will only be honoured upon presentation of a valid membership identification by the member in person. They cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or membership offers unless specifically indicated otherwise.
- Madera Rewards membership is personal and for the member’s use only.
- A member must not sell, transfer, or otherwise dispose of the membership, any privilege, or any points/benefits to any other person, except where Madera Hotel Management Limited expressly agrees in writing. Any breach may result in cancellation of membership and forfeiture of any unredeemed points and benefits in accordance with Clause 3.
- Each member is only eligible for one membership. Neither membership privileges, stay records, nor the points will be combined if multiple memberships are applied by a member.
- Membership privileges are not applicable for complimentary stays and long-stay arrangements. Members cannot earn points nor accumulate stay records from any complimentary stay and long-stay.
- All membership privileges, including room upgrades are subject to availability and hotel’s arrangement.
3. Termination
3.1 Terminate by members
Membership may be terminated by the member at any time by written notice to Madera Hotel Management Limited or by system-enabled opt-out. Termination shall take effect upon confirmation by Madera Hotel Management Limited or system confirmation. Once terminated, all unredeemed points will be forfeited without any obligation or liability, and no award will be honoured after the conclusion of the notice period. Upon termination, all membership privileges shall cease immediately, all points shall be forfeited, and no compensation shall be payable. Personal data will be deleted or anonymised in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and Madera Hotel Management Limited’s Privacy Policy, subject to mandatory retention requirements.
3.2 Terminate by operator
Madera Group has the right to cancel any membership at any time without written notice, and to revoke any and all unredeemed points, benefits and/or rewards collected in a Member’s account, for reasons that include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Member’s violation of these Terms and Conditions;
2. Member’s misrepresentation of any information or any misuse of Madera Rewards;
3. Member’s violation of any national, regional, or local law or regulation in connection with the use of membership privileges;
4. Member’s failure to provide and maintain valid contact information after reasonable attempts to seek an update;
5. Member’s failure to pay for hotel charges and/or any expenses incurred during a Member’s Stay, including if such failure to pay is the result of a Member’s check being returned for insufficient funds or being invalid for any reason;
6. Member’s suspected fraudulent activity;
7. Member maintaining more than one active account.
3.3 Termination of inactive accounts
In cases of account inactivity (no points earned or redeemed, and no qualifying stay) for a continuous period of 24 months, Madera reserves the right to terminate the membership by providing 30 days’ prior notice to the member’s registered email address. Madera will not be responsible for failure to notify any member of cancellation of the Member’s account if the Member’s account did not contain valid contact information. In the event Madera Rewards cancels a membership as permitted under these Terms and Conditions, Madera Rewards has no obligation to permit the individual whose membership was cancelled, to re-enrol in the Program.
4. Qualifying Stays
- Qualifying stays include room bookings at published rates booked through Madera Group website www.maderagroup.com, excluding long-stays rates, negotiated corporate rates, convention and meeting rates, consortia rates, promotional rates and government rates.
- Bookings must be made directly with Madera Group via hotel website www.maderagroup.com, emails, telephone-calls and walk-in but exclude no-show charges, cancellation penalties, service charge and tax.
- Madera Hotel Management Limited reserves the right to amend qualifying criteria and eligible rates at any time with reasonable notice, except where immediate change is required for legal, security, or administrative reasons.
5. Points Accrual
5.1 Hotel Room Bookings
Members earn 1 point for every HK$1 spent on eligible room charges. Points are awarded only for direct bookings made with the hotel through hotel website, emails, telephone-calls and walk-in. Points are not applicable to long-stay rates, defined as stays of twenty-eight (28) consecutive nights or more, or such other stay types as may be designated by Madera Hotel Management Limited from time to time. Service charges, Government and local taxes are excluded from points accrual.
5.2 Food & Beverage Outlets
Members earn 1 point for every HK$3 spent at participating outlets. Points are calculated on the net bill amount after discounts, vouchers, or promotions. Service charges and taxes are excluded from points accrual.
5.3 Exclusions
Points are not earned on:
1. Taxes, service charges, or gratuities.
2. Complimentary or promotional stays/meals.
Points are only earned after registration. Unless otherwise specified, points will be granted for qualifying spending including room accommodation on the room master bill of participating hotels during a qualifying stay. Madera Hotel Management Limited reserves the right to update the qualifying spending or to vary the rate at which points will be allocated from time to time at its sole discretion without prior notice.
5.4 General Points Rules
Members must be the registered guest, the payer of the room master bill, possess a valid Madera Rewards membership and settle payment in full to earn points. The bill paid by an organization, association or group do not qualify for earning points.
A maximum of two rooms will be eligible for points per night if payment is made by member’s own account and the member physically stays in one of the rooms. Only one member will be granted points. Spending of stays prior to successful enrolment of Madera Rewards membership is not eligible to any points.
5.5 Points Accrual and Disputes
Points will be credited to members’ account within 3 working days after check-out. In case of any dispute on point calculation, members are required to send an email with membership number, registered full name, hotel stayed, arrival and departure dates to maderarewards@maderagroup.com within 1
months from the check-out date. Late submissions will not be entertained. All records are subject to the computer records of Madera Hotel Management Limited. Retro-claiming of points is subject to the computer records of Madera Hotel Management Limited and its decision shall be final and conclusive.
5.6 Third-party Awards
Third-party rewards are subject to availability, confirmation, and the terms of the respective provider. Madera Hotel Management Limited is not responsible for third-party products or services.
Any disputes relating to the quality or condition of Third-Party Rewards shall be resolved directly with the third-party provider.
5.7 Correspondence
Members are responsible to provide a valid email and correspondence address to enable Madera Hotel Management Limited to communicate with them and provide information. Members can access their online account on https://www.maderagroup.com/en/loyalty-member-login/#login or send a request to maderarewards@maderagroup.com to update their correspondence details. Madera Hotel Management Limited shall not be liable for any loss of the members due to non-receipt of communications or information where it has used the contact details provided.
6. Rewards Redemption
To use points to redeem rewards, guests must have a valid Madera Rewards membership. All redeemed rewards must be consumed by the designated members in person.
6.1 Complimentary Room Stay
It is applicable for the room physically occupied by the member only. Prior reservation is required. In the event of a reservation is cancelled where pre-requisite cancellation rules are met, the associated room redemption will be cancelled. Points will not be deducted. In the event of a reservation is cancelled where cancellations rules are not met, the associated room redemption will be forfeited and the used points will not be recovered. In the event of a no-show, the associated room upgrade redemption will be forfeited and the used points will not be recovered.
6.2 Madera Gift Vouchers
Madera Gift Vouchers will be valid for 6 months from the date of redemption and use of voucher is subject to the terms and conditions printed on the voucher. Members are responsible for using the redeemed voucher before they expire. Madera Hotel Management Limited shall not be liable for any loss of unused vouchers, and the associated points will not be recovered.
Madera Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, other products or services not included in the room master bill, and non-hotel products or services. If the bill is less than the face value of the voucher, no change will be provided.
The value amount settled by Madera Gift Vouchers is excluded from earning points.
6.3 General Redemption Rules
Replacement, refund or revalidation of points will not be arranged if voucher is lost, stolen, damaged or expired. All redeemed rewards are subject to availability and are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be cancelled. All used points cannot be recovered.
7. General Terms and Conditions
7.1 Termination with Affiliations
If Madera Hotel Management Limited terminates its affiliation with any hotels or partners, the privileges and services at that property as well as the products and offers provided by that partner, will no longer available. Madera Hotel Management Limited assumes no responsibilities and liabilities for changes or discontinuance of any partnership.
7.2 Account Security
Members must ensure that their online membership account information (including member login and password) is not disclosed to any unauthorized parties. Madera Hotel Management Limited shall not be held liable for the consequences of any unauthorized use of online membership account information, including unauthorized redemption of points, subsequent to disclosure of their account information by members.
7.3 Privacy
All information collected from Madera Rewards will be used by Madera Hotel Management Limited and its affiliate companies for marketing purposes and membership maintenance only in accordance with the privacy statement of Madera Hotel Management Limited.
7.4 Change of Terms
Madera Hotel Management Limited has the right to terminate the Madera Rewards or change, add, or delete any of the program rules, terms and conditions, privileges, rewards, reward levels, conversion rates, and promotional privileges pertaining to the program, in whole or in part, at any time, at its sole discretion.
Material adverse changes (including, but not limited to, significant devaluation of points, reduction in core benefits, or imposition of new fees) will be communicated to members via prominent notice on the program website with reasonable endeavours. Such changes will not apply retroactively to points already accrued in a member’s account at the time of notice. Other changes may be made with reasonable notice or immediately where required for legal, security, or administrative reasons.
7.5 Force Majeure
Madera Hotel Management Limited shall not be liable for any delay or failure in the performance of its obligations under the Madera Rewards where such delay or failure results from events, circumstances, or causes beyond its reasonable control. This includes, without limitation, natural disasters, acts of government, war, terrorism, labour strikes, systemic internet or power failures, and significant failures of essential third-party services. In such events, Madera Hotel Management Limited may need to temporarily suspend the Program or modify its rules. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any significant suspensions and to resume normal operations as quickly as possible. Any points or rewards affected by such a suspension will have their validity periods extended for a duration equal to the length of the suspension.
7.6 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Should a dispute arise, these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
7.7 Complete Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between Madera Hotel Management Limited and Members relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersede an prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written regarding the subject matter, and may not be amended or modified except in writing or by making such amendments or modifications available on the website of Madera Hotel Management Limited. If any of these terms and conditions is unenforceable, the remainder of these terms and conditions will remain in full force and effect.
If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English version of these terms and conditions and the Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.
